Your Pregnancy
If you have recently found out you are pregnant then please make an appointment with one of the doctors.
In the meantime, if you are not already doing so, please start taking Folic Acid 400mcg which can be bought from any pharmacy, to help your baby’s spine development.
You will then be referred to our midwife Nicki, or one of her colleagues, who will organise your care during your pregnancy, including scans and blood tests.
Nicki is in the surgery on a Tuesday morning and appointments can be made for your routine check-ups at reception. For your initial appointment Nicki may arrange to visit you in your own home.
If you have any problems during your pregnancy then the doctors are also happy to see you and advise.
